Step back in time with the Hawaiian people on Maui. Share an experience of our ancient culture with a setting, feast, and performance that has made the Old Lahaina Luau so famous. The Old Lahaina Luau is an adventure into the past and a perfect end to a perfect day. This is the only Maui luau that offers a real fresh flower orchid lei upon arrival and a program with your name on it. This is also one of the few luaus in Maui that reserves your seats at the time of your reservation. The further in advance, the better the seats. The Old Lahaina Luau seats from the inside out beginning with the first row of table and chairs. The seating is quaint with tables for eight. The Old Lahaina Luau includes tableside service to their guests. There are two different styles of seating, traditional style; mats and cushions right in front of the stage or regular table and chairs. The luau grounds are tiered up every row providing a clear sight to the stage. With the top row being only 40 feet or so from the grass knoll stage, every seat has a spectacular view. The Old Lahaina Luau is known for its gourmet Hawaiian buffet that serves high-end restaurant quality dishes. The lovely staff will shower you with Aloha and the fresh island drinks will have you feeling fine. These are just a few reasons you’ll wanna reserve these seats well in advance as advanced reservations are required well before you arrive at Maui, last minute bookings rarely work out.

The people that work there make you feel welcome. They are smiling and energetic. Gorgeous setting, right on the beach. The historical show was amazing. The dancers are very talented. The food was WONDERFUL. I was the only vegetarian and gluten free person in our group. I felt like I had plenty of food to choose from. The rest of our group are meat eaters and they love the chicken and pulled pork the most.
The staff here are super friendly and fun! This is well worth the money. Performance was great. Food is buffet style and is pretty good! The sunset view was breathtaking. It is a really beautiful facility as well!
Things to note: There was a rain delay when we attended. The staff could’ve been more informative as to why we had to wait in line. It turns out they were trying to get everything dried off, which is totally understandable! Just more communication would’ve been helpful.
Also, a heads up, parking is limited!
Thank you to all the people involved in creating a wonderful warm experience. From the people greeting us all the way to the people saying goodbye. The young man working the Imu was chill and entertaining. Our waiter Chris was attentive. The food contained a great variety. Favourites were the crab salad, tuna poke’ and the pork wrapped in taro leaf. The lava flow drink was well enjoyed. The show was a delight filling a beautiful colour palette 🎨. Thank you to all. A job well done.
The experience, from start to finish, was top notch. The drinks were delicious and free flowing. The live demonstrations before dinner were interesting. The food was good and traditional. Pay extra for the front row seating (you also get to eat first 👍) Definitely touristy, but also lots of traditional elements and a beautiful sunset setting. Highly recommend!
It was my first Luau and I loved the experience from start to end.
They welcome you with fresh flower garland and a drink. They have variety of drinks to offer, I would recommend Mai Tai.
The Feast is on a lovely ocean front ground and you have ample time to enjoy the sunset, click few photos, learn few steps of luau and buy souvenirs before the feast starts.
They start by uncovering the cooked pork. If you don't eat meat then there are very few vegetarian options, but it is good enough to fill you. Don't miss the desserts, they provide you with assorted desserts plate.Do try them all ! At the end of the show give you packed Banana bread to take home. I must say, I had never eaten such delicious banana bread before.
The performance was stellar and jaw dropping !! The traditional Hawaiian music and drum beats were amazing. The story was well told to give us insight on Hawaiian history and heritage .
The seating was good. But I would prefer seating in the front. You can buy tickets for table or floor seating ,but the problem is the choice of place/distance/view is not given to you,its on first come basis. So be there early and probably you may get the seating with best view. Irrespective of where you sit the view isn’t bad the dancers make sure they entertain the audience in all directions
The staff were courteous and friendly. Our waiter was great and he took real good care of us !
I HIGHLY recommend this show if you are in Lahaina !!
