Expeditions Ferry – Lanai Roundtrip Tickets

Expeditions is the only Lanai ferry service between Maui and Lanai. This is a basic service that offers no transportation once you arrive on Lanai. However, Lanai features a trolley system that is compatible with the arrival and departure times of Expeditions. An all-day trolley pass runs about $10.00. You can purchase the pass at Lahaina Harbor when checking in for the ferry.

Once you arrive on Lanai you can explore Hulopoe beach (The same beach that Trilogy uses) for a fraction of the cost. Have lunch at the Four Seasons or take the trolley into Lanai City. Here you will find a quaint plantation town that is a memory of “Old Hawaii”. Laid back and slow. A little further up the road is the Lodge at Keole and the natural beauty of upcountry Lanai. The Lanai Ferry also provides service to the two world-class golf courses on the island.

From sunny white sand beaches to the mist covered forest of Keole, you will discover paradise on Lanai.

The Private Island:
Lanai also called The Pineapple Island is privately owned. The newest owner is Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle. Since he purchased the island in 2012, the improvements are moving ahead at a rapid rate. These include the harbor, roadways, hotels, golf courses and just about everything else. One of the major goals of the improvements on Lanai is keeping its rural lifestyle. Lanai is private and the locals are intent on keeping that way.

Expeditions Maui to Lanai Ferry is governed by Homeland Security. First and last names of all passengers are required. If you do not provide this information when placing this reservation, Expeditions will not accept the booking.

This activity can be changed (based on availability) free. You can also cancel the activity with a 15% cancellation fee (covers the processing fees) at any time up to 48 hours before its scheduled start. The activity is 100% non-refundable within 48 hours of the check-in time.
