Redline Rafting Adventures snorkels 4 to 5 different Maui snorkel sites. Some of the sites include La Perouse Bay, the Kanio Coast, Turtle Town, inside Molokini Crater and the Back wall of Molokini. Your snorkeling adventure on Maui with Redline Rafting will redefine snorkeling. The inaccessible southern coast of Maui is teeming with marine life including turtles, dolphins, and thousands of varieties of colorful fish. You will explore the famed sea caves of Kanio, do drift snorkeling and experience the wild rugged Kanio Coast.

Redline Rafting is one of the newest Molokini snorkel tours. Its name comes from snorkeling the Kanio Coast & the back wall of Molokini. Very few charter boats on Maui snorkel the Kanio Coast. They simply haven’t got the time to include this remote area of Maui during the day. They are way too slow. Rafting tours on Maui are much quicker and more agile in the water than the larger catamarans so they get to snorkel sites that are out of reach of the competition. The crew is awesome, the boat is very clean and the snorkeling is some of the best on Maui. The only drawback to a raft was there are no restrooms aboard and not really any shade. But, you didn’t come to Maui to sit inside and watch the wind blow by, so, get out there and explore the Kanio Coast with Redline Rafting.

Redline Rafting is a small charter boat company that is family owned and operated. Being a small business on Maui, customer service is a must. The reviews we have had on guests we have scheduled for this snorkel tour have all given a five-star rating. To them it was exciting, met all their expectations and gave them an insight to an adventure off the beaten path.

Some people wonder why this area of Maui is so forbidden. It has mainly to do with the wind and water currents. At one time kayaking was the rage at La Perouse Bay. There were tours by kayak and rental available for those who just wanted to paddle. The USS Coast Guard was busy daily rescuing kayakers who were getting blown out to sea. After a while they got weary of policing the area. Activity operators weren’t as safety minded as they should have been, so the State put a ban on the area for any tour operators from entering the bay to rent or offer kayak tours from on shore. That is why there is a gate blocking traffic from entering the area. You can still park outside the gate and walk into La Perouse Bay, but it is somewhat of a hike, not difficult, however the hike is over a road that is cut through the last lava flow from Haleakala some 400 years ago.

Guides Tim and Katie were excellent. The food is catered and very well done. They bring water in reusable metal bottles, use paper plates, and have real forks rather than plastic. We arrived at 6:30 to good coffee and returned at 12:30 after eating lunch and watching whales. 4 dive sites in all and worth every dollar.

Tim and chase were awesome! They were friendly, great sense of humor and knowledgeable. They made my wife and I feel comfortable and we enjoyed our time while being with them. Snorkeling was fun, saw an eel, octopus, and Spinner Dolphins came up next to the boat. Loved riding the elevator at the Maui Crater. Fun morning with Redline! Thanks guys.

Redline Rafting is a great experience! First, anyone you talk to if you call, us very friendly and courteous. We inquired about the weather for the day of our whale watching trip and they gladly switched us to a different day I recommend the early morning trip as the ocean was calm.

Second, Chase and Katie were a wonderful crew. Both very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Chase is a funny captain

We saw a juvenile whale practicing it's breaches while momma kept a close eye on it. While there were other signs of whale activity none were as entertaining as the young whale.

If you are looking for a recommendation then Redline has mine. We are going to try a snorkeling trip with them in the future

Went on a tour for my birthday in October. Sean and Chase were super attentive and knowledgeable. You can really tell that they enjoy what they do and care about their community! That love truly makes all the difference! We left early, but had most sites to ourselves until the other boats came in. We came down from Napili because we heard these guys are the best! Would 180% recommend!

OMG if you are going snorkeling in Maui this is the only company you should book. They took us to the best snorkeling spots and then went on to see whales and dolphins. Tim and Kelly were awesome, helpful and informative. I don't even know how to swim and had an amazing time. Tip: Bring cash for tips, they deserve it!
