Redline Rafting Adventures snorkels 4 to 5 different Maui snorkel sites. Some of the sites include La Perouse Bay, the Kanio Coast, Turtle Town, inside Molokini Crater and the Back wall of Molokini. Your snorkeling adventure on Maui with Redline Rafting will redefine snorkeling. The inaccessible southern coast of Maui is teeming with marine life including turtles, dolphins, and thousands of varieties of colorful fish. You will explore the famed sea caves of Kanio, do drift snorkeling and experience the wild rugged Kanio Coast.

Redline Rafting is one of the newest Molokini snorkel tours. Its name comes from snorkeling the Kanio Coast & the back wall of Molokini. Very few charter boats on Maui snorkel the Kanio Coast. They simply haven’t got the time to include this remote area of Maui during the day. They are way too slow. Rafting tours on Maui are much quicker and more agile in the water than the larger catamarans so they get to snorkel sites that are out of reach of the competition. The crew is awesome, the boat is very clean and the snorkeling is some of the best on Maui. The only drawback to a raft was there are no restrooms aboard and not really any shade. But, you didn’t come to Maui to sit inside and watch the wind blow by, so, get out there and explore the Kanio Coast with Redline Rafting.

Redline Rafting is a small charter boat company that is family owned and operated. Being a small business on Maui, customer service is a must. The reviews we have had on guests we have scheduled for this snorkel tour have all given a five-star rating. To them it was exciting, met all their expectations and gave them an insight to an adventure off the beaten path.

Some people wonder why this area of Maui is so forbidden. It has mainly to do with the wind and water currents. At one time kayaking was the rage at La Perouse Bay. There were tours by kayak and rental available for those who just wanted to paddle. The USS Coast Guard was busy daily rescuing kayakers who were getting blown out to sea. After a while they got weary of policing the area. Activity operators weren’t as safety minded as they should have been, so the State put a ban on the area for any tour operators from entering the bay to rent or offer kayak tours from on shore. That is why there is a gate blocking traffic from entering the area. You can still park outside the gate and walk into La Perouse Bay, but it is somewhat of a hike, not difficult, however the hike is over a road that is cut through the last lava flow from Haleakala some 400 years ago.

I really enjoyed my trip, the captain was funny and both crew members had lots of knowledge to share about Hawaii and the sea life, which was nice to hear.
The food was simple but healthy, they also provided wet suits, fins and masks for everyone.
On board I felt very safe, the boat was awesome to travel on and we got to snorkel a few different places around the island.
Also... We saw a mother hump back whale with her calf!

I would highly recommend touring with Redline Rafting. Thanks for what might be the highlight of my trip!

We took the 0900 tour on Thursday. We saw lots of whales& activity with male females& calves.Tour guys Tim & ? were great , knowledgeable & safety concious.
Recommend going in the early tours before the ocean gets rough ,Whales are easier to spot.
We had a 16 people on board and found the raft to be a very stable comfortable ride. You will get a little spray but that is refreshing and all part of the experience.
Highly recommend Redline👍👍

January 2019 Snorkeling: We took part in a Redline Rafting snorkeling trip which was amazing. We were one of the first boats, if not the first boat, out on the ocean allowing us to beat the crowd and get the best spots for observing sea life. Our captain and co-captain were great. They educated us, made us laugh, and made the trip extra fun. The trip was highly organized and food was good for on the sea. There is great snorkeling all around Maui, but this really highlighted some of the great spots the island offers. Also in January we got to enjoy some built in whale watching too! We highly recommend Redline Rafting if looking for a snorkeling guided tour. Money well spent.

This was a really great experience! We started early and were able to stay away from the crowds! Love that it was a small boat and small crowd. And stopped at 4 different places to snorkel! And how lucky we were to not only see a ton of whales, but 4 that breached! We also saw dolphins, sea turtles and great marine life! Tim and Kelly were great hosts! Highly recommend!

My girlfriend booked this for us on our Maui trip. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the two gentlemen working the whale tour were hilarious and really seemed to care about their job. They were very knowledgeable and seemed to want us to see as much as we could and we saw everything you would ever want to see on a whale tour. I would recommend to anyone I know if you want to see whales go with these guys!
