Gemini Charters Whale Watch has a fantastic Whale Watching tour from Kaanapali Beach. Each Maui whale watching charter includes a marine naturalist to share the behavior of the Humpback whales and a hydrophone so you can listen to the whale songs. Gemini Charters offers a convenient whale watching tour for guests staying in the Kaanapali resort area. Whale watching in Maui is a serious thing for Gemini Charters. A certified marine naturalist joins the charter to share the behavior of the Humpback whales. Gemini Charters Whale Watch departs from Kaanapali Beach. Regardless of the resort you are staying in, you can walk to the meet location in front of the Westin Maui Hotel. If you are staying on the other side of Black Rock, there is a free trolley service that will connect you to Whalers Village. Then it’s a short walk through the mall to the beach. The advantage is if you are staying in Kaanapali, you don’t have to drive to Lahaina or Maalaea. The parking in Lahaina can be pricey for a couple of hours. Most visitors spend more time looking for the least expensive parking lot, which is usually the ones off the beaten path that require a longer walk to the harbor; then you have to remember where you parked when it’s time to head back to your resort. These parking lots tend to be less secure also. For visitors staying in Kaanapali, it only makes sense to schedule a whale watching tour from there. Why drive and pay for parking when you can walk.
Amenities: What does the charter offer or have that suits your needs? Most whale watching tours from Lahaina are cheaper than Kaanapali, but in the end, you will pay the same or more because you have to pay for parking and anything to drink or snack on during the tour. Gemini offers beverage and a delicious menu with each Maui whale watching tour. Both are included you’re your tickets.

There are 2 departure times. One for the early riser who has other thing to do on Maui for the remainder of the day, or the late afternoon tour that is kind of like a sunset whale watch. We are sure there is a time that fits your vacation needs.
Great trip. Moderate seas, with plenty of white caps and 4-5 foot swells. No sign of anybody not fully enjoying the cruise. The crew works hard to insure...

We were fortunate enough to be visiting Maui prior to the travel restrictions due to the Corona Virus. I've always known the ocean right off Kaanapali...
Loved this. Very educational. Knowledgeable crew. Relaxing. Continental breakfast was bagels, cinnamon rolls and fruit.
Hands down our favorite thing in Maui. We did the snorkel cruise which took us out to Honolua Bay for snorkeling. The crew was amazingly helpful with...
Just booked our 2020 sail to celebrate our daughter's 22nd Bday on April 11th.... can't wait....This was based on our 2018 sail that we yelped the...
Staff was phenomenal. Very helpful through everything. Plenty of room and well worth the extra $$$ compared to the others. Boat could fit 75-80 but they only allow 50 people on. Whale watching, snorkeling, food, drinks. All amazing. They loved our little girls Lily and Rae and all the staff remembered their names the whole time. Excellent.
Absolute highlight of our trip. Make sure you come to Maui during whale season and book a tour with Gemini. The crew was really nice and the marine biologist on board was extremely knowledgeable. Great snacks, open bar and dozens of whales. It was 100% the best thing we did while in Maui.
Wonderful time! We had the very best captain out watching whales yesterday. He would find them and then get us in the action with them as close as he legally could. The boat was very nice and the snacks were top notch. I would definitely recommend this boat and crew.
Excellent boat and crew. Itenary was flexible to allow for quick stops to see whales when they were sighted. Food was excellent as well as the drinks after snorkeling. Our original trip was canceled due to wind so they obviously have customer comfort as a priority. A must for your Maui experience.
My husband and I come to Maui every year and always go on a sailboat. We had 6 people total in our group and did not book in advance but waited until...
This boat is breathtaking, it was a dream come true to get the chance to sail on her. A friend of ours built her and we were able to hear all the stories of how she came to be. He shared with us the drawings, blueprints and to see the model he made of her was eye-opening. The detail and love he put into her, truly makes this boat the talk of the island. The staff is wonderful and being on the boat, out on the water was a dream come true. If you're going to the island, plan ahead so you don't miss out on an afternoon sea adventure with the Gemini. We went whale watching and the dolphins came out to play too. It was a perfect day and made our time on Maui complete. Can't wait to go back, because this Gemini love the Gemini.
