Pacific Whale Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Pacific Whale Foundation offers a number of ocean ecotours including snorkel trips, sunset dinner and cocktail cruises, stargazing excursions, and whale watches too! These tours benefit the research and educational efforts of the organization.

The Foundation

Pacific Whales Foundation was founded by Greg Kauffman in 1980. The mission of the foundation is to protect the ocean through science, advocacy, and to inspire environmental stewardship. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, Pacific Whale Foundation dedicates all profits to the Research, Education, and Conversation programs as part of their social enterprise model.

There are a number of ways to participate in the efforts of the Pacific Whale Foundation. Every cruise makes a difference to their cause. Conservation efforts focus on areas like plastic use reduction, removal of marine debris, and sustainable eating to name a few. The conservation efforts are chosen by determining what best aligns with the research initiatives of the organization.

Pacific Whale Foundation also offers a membership. The memberships combined with donations, charitable grants, and volunteer participation has a total of over 400,000 individuals contributing to their efforts.
