Maui Snuba Diving: Snuba, the combination of snorkeling and SCUBA diving, is an exciting activity offered as an option on the Four Winds Molokini Snorkel. Snuba offers the individual the ability to swim underwater for an extended period of time, without the hassle of carrying a heavy oxygen tank and monitoring its air usage. This feat is accomplished by filling a small raft with oxygen which connects to the swimmers regulator via a 20-foot hose. Using this apparatus, one can swim like a fish and take in the incredible scenery of the underwater world of Molokini Crater. The air lasts a little over a half an hour, which will give you plenty time to explore and see a dazzling array of tropical fish. Anyone over the age of 8 can partake in this incredibly fun activity and it’s very popular for kids and adults alike.

Great staff, food and boat. They are willing to help in any way they can. Plenty of food for lunch and breakfast, with as many refills you want. The best place to sit is up stars on the front of the boat center and center right. It’s also the last boat on the other side of the dock. Don’t forget to pay for parking you don’t want a 50$ fine.
If your picky about your gear I would bring your own. Good fins and mask, I just didn’t like the snorkel. I prefer the snorkels that close as you free dive but there’s are fine. They also have floats that go around your waist and I would suggest to use them. There’s a glass bottom area on the very bottom of the boat.
Nice staff and great people working if you need anything they have from wetsuits to cameras to rent.
Make sure to leave a tip because they work hard and it’s not a easy job.
We had Alec and Shannon as our guides and LOVED them. They were hilarious and made the experience for those of us that never zip lined much easier. One in our group even had to be “saved” on the line and Alec was great. Overall, a great experience with these two. I would highly recommend the tour with Alec and Shannon.
We found Four Winds II by accident. None of the other ones had any availability for a next day event. Everyone of the staff were friendly and helpful, from the woman who helped with the reservation to the snorkeling guys and the food and drink service. They even gave our daughter temporary tattoos, which she loved. As we were leaving our snorkeling spot on Molokini, some of the passengers spotted some dolphins, so our captain turned the catamaran around so everyone could experience them. I totally recommend snorkeling with Four Winds II.
Staff was very friendly and it was nice that the cooked your food on the back of the boat when you are boating out to the dive site. Weather is an issue and they kept bringing up we might not be able to out if it's a little windy. We got lucky and made it out but I would not be happy if we did not get out to our destination. We saw lots of whales so that was a huge plus. The snorkeling was not the best at the Crater. There was a couple beaches on Maui that had better coral but overall the trip was worth it.
This was one of the best activities I’ve ever paid for on ANY vacation.
CREW:The crew was extremely kind and accommodating! Many people got seasick and the crew handled it professionally and with care.
SNORKEL:The snorkeling was easy and 2 hours was more than enough. You were able to hop on and off the boat as you pleased during the snorkel time. The morning tour is 5 hours in total and the afternoon tour is 3 hours. I did the morning tour and we saw a ton of aquatic life! It was amazing.
FOOD:There was a variety of food to choose from. For breakfast there’s fresh fruit, muffins, juice, etc. For lunch there’s hot dogs, pulled pork burgers, chicken sandwiches-all the typical bbq fittings. Also, there’s complimentary beer and wine at the end of the adventure.
CON:The only thing I don’t like is that we weren’t told how much it’d would cost for professional photos until we got in the boat. It’s $55 to get all your photos (6-8pics). I think this info should be posted in the website so people can come prepared. However, the pics were very clear and we bought them anyway.
