Maui Snuba Diving: Snuba, the combination of snorkeling and SCUBA diving, is an exciting activity offered as an option on the Four Winds Molokini Snorkel. Snuba offers the individual the ability to swim underwater for an extended period of time, without the hassle of carrying a heavy oxygen tank and monitoring its air usage. This feat is accomplished by filling a small raft with oxygen which connects to the swimmers regulator via a 20-foot hose. Using this apparatus, one can swim like a fish and take in the incredible scenery of the underwater world of Molokini Crater. The air lasts a little over a half an hour, which will give you plenty time to explore and see a dazzling array of tropical fish. Anyone over the age of 8 can partake in this incredibly fun activity and it’s very popular for kids and adults alike.

Traveling with a 3 and 7 year old, this was a great experience! My son loved every minute from when the boat left! My husband had a great time and liked that they didn’t limit you to what you ordered. He had a pulled pork and a hot dog. My 3 year old only went out on the water for 10 minutes in the water, but still had a great time!
We went to Molokini crater last month with this outfit and had a phenomenal time. The crew was all super friendly and ready to help out with everything, and our 11yo son had a great time with them - they let him reel in a fish we snagged on the way out, got a temp tattoo on the ride back.
I’d also like to call out the photographer, who took some amazing pics of our family, and he was able to upload them to my phone. Easy.
We also appreciated the food and drinks, they’ve got everything you need. Our son was still hungry after a hot dog and they let him have seconds.
My only complaint is we didn’t see dolphins while snorkeling, but I will let it slide!!!
Great staff, food and boat. They are willing to help in any way they can. Plenty of food for lunch and breakfast, with as many refills you want. The best place to sit is up stars on the front of the boat center and center right. It’s also the last boat on the other side of the dock. Don’t forget to pay for parking you don’t want a 50$ fine.
If your picky about your gear I would bring your own. Good fins and mask, I just didn’t like the snorkel. I prefer the snorkels that close as you free dive but there’s are fine. They also have floats that go around your waist and I would suggest to use them. There’s a glass bottom area on the very bottom of the boat.
Nice staff and great people working if you need anything they have from wetsuits to cameras to rent.
Make sure to leave a tip because they work hard and it’s not a easy job.
This snorkel trip to Molokini was amazing! I brought my grandsons (ages 4 & 6) and they had a blast! The floats with windows was helpful to build their confidence in the ocean and to then try the snorkel. One even went down the slide a couple times. Crew was amazing, kind, friendly, and especially patient with one of my boys who was initially nervous to get in the ocean. Parking is limited - especially for the morning tours - so make sure to get there plenty early! Looking forward to my next trip to Maui and will definitely book again!
My family of 4 (kids are ages 9 and 7) did the morning snorkel trip to Molokini today and it was amazing! Some other people on the boat got seasick. We all took Dramamine when we woke up, and it helped because none of us felt sick, so I would recommend taking Dramamine BEFORE you board the boat. The crew was so chill and fun...kept bringing snacks, drinks, and equipment to keep everything going smoothly. Best part: the family had a BIG ADVENTURE and it was relatively easy for us parents...we were along for the ride rather than running the show. Thank you so much for the experience!!!
