The Pineapple Industry on Maui reflects on gentler times during the Plantation Era and this Maui Pineapple Farm Tour shows you everything there is to know. The plantation era extended for over 100 years during the agriculture growth period. These agriculturists came from all over Asia seeking a better way of life in Hawaii and began the Plantation Days on Maui. Maui culture is a mix of immigrants who blended with the island culture creating what you experience today, a spirit of Aloha. To really understand how special the Plantation Days were on Maui every visitor should take this Maui Pineapple Farm Tour. The traditional values and heritage of most of the people who make up our Island population were created during these times. Although the Plantation Days are just a memory of a more gentle time, the true meaning of the Aloha Spirit and the underlying culture of Maui is still present today.
Each guest receives a free pineapple and you can also purchase pineapple approved for shipping straight from the packing plant much cheaper than any store or at the airport.

We had a great time on pineapple tour. The guides explained the growth and harvest cycle with humor and explained the history of pineapple production on the islands. And then we were given all the pineapple we could eat right there I'm the fields. We also did the distillery tour. Fairly straight forward. The still though we're the most high-tech I have ever seen. Wish we could same more than just three items.
Took about an hour and a half which was just right for what it covered. Actually ate fresh pineapple while standing beside fields of them. Guide did a very good job. He had grown up there and was very knowledgeable.
My husband & I really enjoyed our pineapple tour! Such a great experience while here on the island. Great views while out in the fields. It was very interesting learning more about the history of the pineapples here, and we especially really enjoyed Tim. He has a great sense of humor & made the tour very entertaining & fun. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our tour of Maui Gold Pineapple. Our tour guide was fun & knowledgeable, plus he had worked on the farm for most of his life and therefore had great personal stories to tell. We learned a lot about how pineapples are grown & picked, plus we got to eat a ton of pineapple and go home with one too!
This was one of the very best parts of our tourist travels around Maui. Terri, our tour guide, was awesome! She gave us so much more information than I ever thought I needed to know about pineapples! The fields were amazing, and it was really cool to see pineapples growing from the newly planted crowns, to the baby pineapples, to the full-grown ready to harvest fruits. I recommend springing for the distillery tour and the lunch. The tour is pretty groovy, and the lunch is delicious. This tour made for a really great day.
