2-Tank Maui Scuba Diving
Lahaina Divers offers a variety of Maui scuba diving locations that are fun and exciting. These are afternoon diving trips. Some of the locations that they frequently visit during these Maui scuba diving adventures are Turtle Reef or the Carthaginian shipwreck. The shipwreck dive descends over 100 feet to the ocean floor. This is an interesting dive as the Carthaginian was sunk as an artificial reef. The experiment was a huge success as the shipwreck is slowly getting covered with barnacles and the entire area has blossomed into a marine habit for hundreds of species of fish. At one time the Carthaginian was docked in Lahaina and used as a museum. The ship is a concrete replica of an 18th-century whaling ship. Now it’s a thriving reef just south of Lahaina.
The Turtle Reef dive is a fun dive checking out the green sea turtles and the immense variety of fish on colorful reefs. Turtle Reef is also known as Turtle Arches. A few miles south of Lahaina, the reef area is in the calm waters off Olowalu. It’s not really a deep dive, but a good one. There are literally dozens of turtles that call the area home. From small to large, the turtles grace the reef with their beauty, swimming as if there isn’t a care in the world. A great dive, if you are looking for something to do in the afternoon.
There are very few dive shops that offer afternoon dives. Lahaina Divers is one of them. Most dive companies prefer the early morning for diving as they travel across a channel that get a little rough in the afternoon. Lahaina Divers keeps it simple as they ply the coast for exceptional Maui dive sites that are rarely frequented by other dive companies.

What a great experience! Did two charters with them and wasn’t disappointed. Great, experienced staff that truly love diving and take care of their customers. Received some great advice and utilized it right away on my next dive! Look to them for all your SCUBA needs in Lahaina! If I come back I’ll definitely go with them again!
Fantastic! Everything was seamless. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rental equipment was in great shape, the dives were great. I would highly recommend then to anyone! Jules was an awesome diver leader!
Best dive shop in Lahaina, hands down. GREAT crew, from bottom to top, from shop people to dive instructors to boat captains. Very professional, take care of EVERYTHING for you, feed you. You can tell they all love diving! We did 3 boat dives, back wall, molokini crater and the hammerhead shark dive. Nick was our instructor and told us what to expect every dive and communicated great on the surface and below. Thanks everyone for treating us so well!!
At first I was scared to try scuba diving, but Lahaina Divers made me feel so safe and comfortable that I had a great time. So professional and passionate about scuba diving. It was perfect!
I don’t dive but my husband is an avid diver and he wanted to book a tour. He checked out Lahaina divers. They had an option for someone not diving to come along on the boat and snorkel. I didn’t end up snorkeling but I still really enjoyed my day on the boat. One other person who was in the same situation as me did go snorkeling and really enjoyed it. The staff encouraged me to try snorkeling but didn’t pressure me to. They were all super professional and friendly. We had some rough choppy waters and they made sure to keep everyone safe. We were lucky to also see a lot of whales (early March) and they took the time to stop so we could enjoy them. My husband really enjoyed his dives too. You could go with any company and still see what you want to see under water. The staff with Lahaina divers really made the trip with their attitude, professionalism and the atmosphere they provided.
