Baby Beach Lahaina

Recommended ages: 0-3

This shallow sloping protected beach hosts some of the calmest waters on Maui. A locals favorite with a charming background of Lahaina’s historic Front Street. The sheltered bathtub like waters make for the best memory for your little ones’ first steps in the ocean.

Olowalu (mile marker 14)

Recommended ages: 2-8

Clear, shallow and calm waters protected by olowalu point is great for any child’s first snorkeling experience. Be sure to bring your little ones boogy boards, floaties and snorkels for a full day beach trip discovering mauis best corals.

Honokowai Beach Park

Recommended ages: 3-9

More of a hidden gem among the West Maui beaches, Honokowai beach park has almost everything a family could need. A protecting barrier reef host calm pools to splash around in. Bathroom facilities on site, playground, and open grass field to throw a Frisbee or football. With an awesome farmers market with great smoothies and Acai Bowls as well as a Badass Coffee Shop, this quaint beach park will give you a local’s vibe for sure.

Ka’anapali Beach

Recommended ages: 10-18

Known as Mauis # 1 beach on almost every guides’ recommendations, Kaanapali is a must. Kaanapali has a ton of different available to keep your family going the whole day; Snorkel with sea turtles or cliff jump at Black Rock, get surf or Stand up paddle board lessons, boogie boarding, body surfing, traditional outrigger canoe rides, and seasonal jet ski and parasailing. Whalers shopping mall and fine dining options will have the grown ups busy as well. Makes sure you set a side a day for world famous Kaanapali!
